Adriana Lima is popularly known for being a Brazilian actress and model; she is best known for her debut as one of Victoria Secret’s Angels. Lima is also an active spokeswoman for Maybelline make-up. In her lifetime, Adriana has entered and placed in many beauty pageants. In her teenage years, she entered a model search competition with a friend and won first place as the Supermodel of Brazil. Then, she entered the Supermodel of the World competition and won second place changing the direction of her life.
During her career, Adriana has faced criticism about her dieting routine. There are times that she desires to lose weight quickly and she will only do seven to ten days of protein only, usually in the form of shakes. Along with the eating schedule, she will work out twice each day to increase her metabolism to burn any fat on the body.
Lima does not use this diet year round, only when special occasions are around the corner. The rest of the time she is following a healthy diet and exercise routine. Adriana does not feel that she is abusing her body by using this occasional change to lose some weight when needed.
